The Bachelor of Business Administration program at the Université du Québec en Outaouais teaches the concepts and trends in management for modern organizations. Throughout their studies, students will look at contemporary matters such as globalization, competition, and the fast pace of technological change to understand how these areas influence organizational information technology (IT) strategies.
The Bachelor of Business Administration program offers a broad spectrum of courses in the fields of management, human resources, accounting, finance, marketing, operations, as well as global and strategic management training.
Students have the option to choose from one of the six concentrations in this program, and their course requirements will vary according to their concentration choice. These six concentrations are:
- Human Resources
- Information Systems
- International Management
Students can also opt for a general specification and tailor it to their specific needs and interests, instead of choosing any of the above specifications. The program also has co-op opportunities and an to study abroad at a host university after meeting the cumulative average requirements and earning the minimum amount of credits.
Graduates of the Bachelor of Business Administration program are employed in a variety of roles such as director, manager, team leader and project manager in industries ranging from marketing to finance. Some students also choose to become entrepreneurs and start their own business after graduation.
